Michael Lipinski started his Tae Kwon Do training in 1969 with Master Martin Mackowski. He received his First Degree Black belt in 1972 and has been active in the Martial arts for over 48 years. After receiving his black belt, Mr Lipinski began instructing with Master Mackowski at Burlingame Tae Kwon do.
From 1976 though 1989 he was responsible for creating the martial arts program for the College of San Mateo, Mackowski’s School of Tae Kwon Do Children’s program as well as martial arts program tailored for children with special needs.
Mr Lipinski has promoted 5 students to the rank of Black Belt including his son, Aaron Lipinski, who is currently teaching the children’s class at Golden State Tae Kwon Do.
Mr. Lipinski joined the Golden State Tae Kwon Do team when Master Mackowski passed the baton to Master Chris Jensen and Master Debbie Pederson.
Throughout Mr. Lipinski’s martial arts career he has also trained in Judo and JuJitsu and often incorporates his grappling skills into his lesson plans.
Mr. Lipinski is currently teaching the advanced forms and Brown & Black Belt Classes at Golden State Tae Kwon Do and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge for years to come.
