Michael Wang began Martial Arts training in 1986, studying Chinese Boxing, Kung-Fu & Chi Kung. He later joined Golden State Taekwondo in 1992 and received his black belt in 1999. In 2000, Mr. Wang decided to continue to advance his skill by training in Jujitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, and hand weapons. Mr. Wang has been teaching since 1990 until today, and continues training and learning from different masters.
Mr. Wang is also specialized in street Self-Defense. He has helped and taught many man, women & children the most modern methods to fighting off an attacker or who is determined to assault. His teaching goal is to help students develop focus, strength and confidence, as well as to achieve a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
My Self-Defense Philosophy:
Self-defense can help you to overcome your worries and problems, can mean the difference between being a victim or a survivor. Learning will lead to success and happiness. Training will enhancing your senses, awareness, instincts and feel confident about yourself. With patience, you will conquer your fears, a new world will open up, and you will soon discover that your hard work will offer benefits you never imagined.
